These contact lenses are made from Acuvue's proprietary material, etafilcon A, and an exclusive technology called INFINITY EDGE™ Design which adapts to your eye's unique contours to give you comfort you can feel all day long. To help protect your eyes from the harmful effects of the sun (like macular degeneration and cataracts), Acuvue 2 includes Class 2 UV blocking, which blocks 88% of UVA rays and 99% of UVB rays.
Acuvue 2 contacts are two-week daily wear contacts, meaning you can wear them for up to two weeks, but they need to be cleaned every night to maintain your eye health. Scheduled cleanings will also remove unwanted buildup like particles and proteins.
